Are Nail Stickers Reusable?

Most nail stickers are made for one-time wear.

Once a sticker has been applied, trimmed, and worn for a few days, the adhesive usually won’t be strong enough to use again. But that doesn’t mean the rest of the sheet has to go to waste.

If you have unused stickers left over, keep them in the original packaging and store them somewhere dry and away from heat. You can use them for your next manicure, or mix them with another set for a different look.

One thing that helps nail stickers last longer is applying them to clean, dry nails. Lotion and natural oils can make the edges lift faster, so it’s better to prep your nails first and apply hand cream afterward.

Depending on the style and how you wear them, nail stickers can last anywhere from a few days to around two weeks.

So while the sticker you already wore probably isn’t reusable, the extra stickers in the set definitely are.

A little mix-and-match can also make leftover designs feel completely new.
